Access thousands of ebooks and audiobooks for all ages from your own device on Palace Project with your CAPL card. You can search for specific titles or view carousels and content based on your reading interests. The My Books feature is a personalized page for all of your checkouts.
Borrow and read through the Palace Project website or download the Project Palace app to your device: iOS | Android
To get started on the website:
- Click on “Sign In”
- Enter your Barcode and PIN/Password and click “Login”
- Browse or search for an item to checkout
- Click on “Borrow this book” to checkout or “Reserve this book” to place on hold
- Click “Read Online” to read in the browser
To get started on the app:
- Search for “Cary Area Public Library” and select it
- Enter your library card number and pin associated with your account (if you’ve never changed the pin, it would be the last four digits of the phone number you supplied upon library card sign-up)
- Click on “Borrow this book” to checkout or “Reserve this book” to place on hold
- To see all items checked out and on hold, go to the “My Books” tab
